My Story
Marian Hammond is a founder of Freedom to Fly and an experienced trauma-informed group facilitator with specialist expertise in the dynamics of shame and its impact on trauma recovery. She co-developed the Freedom to Fly model to provide an intensive, embodied pathway for survivors of sexual harm seeking supported group healing.
Her practice integrates relational group process, psychodramatic methods, creative expression, and somatic awareness. Marian works skilfully with internalised shame, self-blame, and relational withdrawal, supporting participants to shift toward self-compassion, agency, and authentic connection.
She is known for her grounded presence and capacity to create safe, structured environments where vulnerability can be explored with dignity, safety, and professional containment.
